Venous ulcers

Venous ulcers are due to abnormal vein function. People may inherit a tendency for abnormal veins. Common causes of damaged veins include blood clots, injury, aging, and obesity.
Symptoms include swelling, achiness, and tiredness in the legs. Usually a red, irritated skin rash develops into an open wound. Treatment includes leg elevation, compression, and wound care. Sometimes surgery is needed.

Uterine Fibroid

Uterine fibroid are benign smooth muscle tumors of the uterus, and most women have no symptoms while others may have painful or heavy periods.
If you are experiencing cramps, pelvic pressure or pain, heavy or prolonged period and frequently urination you may be dealing with uterine fibroid.

UPCOMING TRIALS

Hot Flashes Associated with Menopause

Sudden feeling of warmth, usually most intense over the face, neck, and chest, and profuse sweating, commonly due to menopause. You may be experiencing menopause.

Menopause is the time in a woman’s life when her period stops. It usually occurs naturally, most often after age 40 to 60. Interested in finding out more about these clinical trials, contact our center.

OA of the Knee

Osteoarthritis is a common form of arthritis that often affects the knee. In the first stage, symptoms are mild, but by the fourth, a person may need surgery. … As these functions break down, they no longer protect the bones of the knee joint, and bone damage occurs. OA of the knee can cause pain and stiffness

Vaginal Candidiasis

Candidiasis is an infection caused by a yeast (a type of fungus) called CandidaCandida normally lives inside the body (in places such as the mouth, throat, gut, and vagina) and on skin without causing any problems. Sometimes Candida can multiply and cause an infection if the environment inside the vagina changes in a way that encourages its growth. Candidiasis in the vagina is commonly called a “vaginal yeast infection.

Dermatological

Atopic Dermatitis is a condition that makes your skin red and itchy. Atopic dermatitis is long lasting (chronic) and tends to flare periodically and then subside. It may be accompanied by asthma or hay fever.

If you’re struggling with severe itching, red and formally diagnosed atopic dermatitis, a new research study could be an option for you. To find out if you qualify visit our research medical center.

Respiratory (COPD)

Emphysema and chronic bronchitis are the most common conditions that make up COPD. Damage to the lungs from COPD can’t be reversed.

Symptoms include shortness of breath, wheezing, or a chronic cough. Rescue inhalers and inhaled or oral steroids can help control symptoms and minimize further damage. Visit our research medical center to find out if you qualify.
